Powdered Metals, Inc. has positioned itself well to function within today’s varied and multi-faceted markets wherein the demand for mechanical and engineering-type metal components exhibiting dimensional precision, complex geometries, and rigid mechanical and physical properties is the norm. Its state-of-the-art production equipment permits it to readily accept OEM and other kinds of parts with confidence for their successful outcome.

RPM’s 30 compacting presses range in their pressing capabilities from 4 through 550 tons. The larger machines are multi-platen types allowing parts having up to five or six levels to be pressed while maintaining density uniformity independently in each of their levels.

Four sintering furnaces, including high-temperature, grace RPM’s production floor giving it the capability to produce large volume order quantities of any P/M material – from copper-base through stainless steels expeditiously and economically.

Other ancillary equipment, including sizing and coining presses and vibratory finishing machines, aid Ridgway Powdered Metal’s efforts to produce the rigid requirements which its customers’ parts demand.

Located, as it is, in the center of the heaviest concentration of powder metal manufacturing in the world RPM is surrounded by large numbers of businesses catering to it such as: press and furnace builders, tool builders, machine shops, platers, heat treaters, metallurgical laboratories and others.
